Welcome to Alanson Riverfest 2015! August 14, 15 and 16. A Celebration of the Inland Water Route. The Alanson Riverfest showcases everything that makes the Inland Water Route stand out as an area with tremendous history, community pride and vibrancy. Join the fun as the festival kicks off on Wednesday with the volunteer party, Thursday night with a teen dance, live music all weekend, vendors and activities continues through Sunday.

We are constantly striving to make all our departments more accessible to our citizens, thus making our community a better place to live.

Open Horse Show Speed Division. Vendors serving food are subject to all health department regulations and approval by carnival group. Gates open from 8 AM to 11 PM. No entry charge from 8 AM to 10AM. Children 12 and under - No charge. Camping available, call the office for more information. All events rain or shine.

The purpose of the league is to give young girls and boys an opportunity to learn to play hockey in fun, and local environment. We encourage young girls and boys to participate in multiple activities, hockey being one. The 2017-18 season is the 18th year for Cheboygan Chiefs Hockey. The Chiefs play in the Northern Michigan Hockey League and are a Division III school of the Michigan High School Athletic Association. Laura Stamm Power skating clinic.
